Tawnda Littlewood

Student Support Teacher

I am a mom to 5 amazing kids. When I am not teaching I enjoy camping, reading, learning, crochet and knitting, as well as spending time with my family.  My bucket list is to visit Niagara Falls, and to meet my husband's extended family in Valencia Spain. I have visited 38 of the 48 continental states. I hold dual Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. Special education has always held a special place in my heart and I am passionate about helping kids recognize their strengths and find their aha moments. I grew up with an older sister who has severe intellectual disability and my mom told me I spent hours in my room "lesson planning". While other kids played house I played teacher. This is my second year at EH and my 7th year in education, I have been a paraprofessional, a teacher's aide, a substitute for K-12 and taught second grade last year at EH. I am going to be pursuing my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction this winter and look forward to expanding my skills to better meet the needs of my students.
